CPF as 3rd benefit

If those retirees who opted for pension and surrendered the contribution from bank to Pension Fund in terms of BEPR can now reclaim that amount (obviously with interest) now, on the basis of parity with SBI, applying the same logic, can those who opted to continue under CPF and retired in the past, claim pension as third benefit for them with retrospective effect from the date of retirement?
What will be the stand of unions of employees in this regard considering the huge  financial implications that will result for the banks?
