Now a days, every pensioners expectation on updation is raised, thanks to the various posts of  pensioners. Many pensioners still beleive that updation may happen on the lines of RBI updation formula and a few advocate that a diluted and truncated version may be adopted, considering the financial burden. Many also aver some solutions should be found on special allowances which doesn't form part of basic pension.Some have gone to the extend of equating SBI pensioners with the public sector banks/erstwhile associate banks pensioners and the benefit should be same for all. The only bone of contention is when updation guidelines will be accepted by the ministry and the date of implementation. Even the hard core pessimists do not spew negative views like funds co straints,apathy of IBA and UFBU combine etc. Every body is going to be in for a surprise . Let us wait and see!

Triggered by Delhi High Court Order things seem to be moving fast and  DFS, SBI and IBA have been forced to take a decision on pensioners issues. Within the next few weeks DFS will make a decision one way or another, Already 100% DA has been agreed. UFBU was not consulted and as per court order only SBI pensioners were consulted. We have to wait till Sep end.
