All. There is a misunderstanding on "payment of interest". After reading the document, I noticed there is a misunderstanding regarding resignees option- payment interest.  It says resignees have to pay back entire bank contributions including interest paid on bank contribution,  that is I have to pay back 50 percent of PF settled. NO NEED to pay interest from date of resignation till current.

Mohan Sir. Please clarify.  Please see attachment for ready reference
Thanks and regards,

One more doubt. Resignees means all kind of resignees irrespective of resignees reasons?

Dear Mr Muralidhar,

Reason for resignation is not counted. All resignations due to any reason come under 'Resignation'
Now to opt for pension to resigned employees as per MOU too have terms and conditions.Let final approval from MOF come,to know further.

Dear Mr Bhat,

As per MOU signed between Unions and IBA on 9.11.23,on extending option on pension to resigned employees, this is what they have stated:

“a. Employees and officers who were in service of the Banks on or after 1-1- 1986 and had joined the Banks before 1-4-2010 and who have resigned from the service of the Bank on or before 26-04-2010 and who were ‘otherwise eligible' to join the pension scheme while in service and”

Not spelt out more than that.Includes in ' otherwise eligible'.AIBEA issued a circular first, stating that  eligible service is 10 yrs.

Later they have came with another circular with 20 yrs of service.

Proposal is yet be  approved by DFS.Only on receipt of final circular from.banks,we may know the exact position.
Wait.
Regards
Mohan.P

Request Clarify weather these provisions would also apply to Resignees of SBI and for those who completed 15 years service.
