This can also happen.I have submitted my life certificate on 02.11.2015 and received acknowledgement also.,but my life certificate not forward to HO by the branch,resulting my pension has not been credited till now.while asked the manager,simply replied, not only yours but other four pensioner who is drawing pension from this branch also not got,reason he has forget to submit some information  to HO.This is the way retirees treated by his own collegues .

Dear Sir,

It is very much ashamed Sir, that the insurance policy so designed by
IBA and the insurance is covered w.e.f. 1.11.2015. Even after the
payment of premium debited by the bank, the policcy E-card is not
available even on heritage site- allahabad bank so far.

Pl advice how to proceed

Dear

to which bank you belong. Please write to PM for harassment of the
retirees. and also to be addressed to CMD, your bank and also claim
the damage and penalty from the bank without any delay. This is the
only social benefit available to the retires, which was denied by the
bank due to the fault of the manager of the branch where you have
submitted the life certificate Claim damage and harasment amount to
the tune of Rs. 50,000/- without any delay. So that the manager who do
not know the working of the branch and posted. Such acts is done with
the staff. Think due to the ignorance / lack of knowledge of that
manager, how a customer is facing.

Please approach your HO. immediately. and also to PM .

Dear Mr Balaji,

                                1. Health Card pertaining to retirees under superannuation is available under TPA now.

The procedure for down loading the card is given under the following link under Retirees corner

                                2.In case of others- SVRS ,Resignees etc the last date of submission of consent letter to join under the scheme is 14th Dec '15.As such it 

is expected that only after submitting of the names and details of such retirees to TPA the process of down load of Health Card will take place.Any way wait for couple of days more.

Dear Sri Balaji,

                                There are other  things  too the retirees look forward for answers from Bank. .1.When a Medi Claim Insurance Scheme,is introduced as per agreement dt 25th May 2015, to serving employees which is extended to existing retirees ,there is no mention on  "Retired under Superannuation" and VRS/SVRS etc. But bank has issued two separate circulars on segregating retirees!

                                Regarding delay in getting the Health Card through TPA may probably   be due to non submission of details of all retirees under SVRS to TPA by Bank,for whom the last date for submission of consent letter is fixed on 14th Dec'15 as I mentioned in my message earlier.Once all those retirees who  submit consent letter by 14th Dec '15.may be incorporated in the final  list to Insurance Co and there after the process of download of Health Card may commence in such cases.

On 14th of May, 2015, much before signing of 10th BPS, respected General Secretary, AIBRF was requested to call for agitation through the copy of letter attached hereto but in vein. If our leaders want to they can start even now as the

situation is worsening day by day but what actually is being done by them also is a matter of pleasure for both IBA and UFBU. Only we poor Indian Bank retirees are counting our last days with sigh to be saved only by GOD and none else. With Regards and Thanks to all.

It should have been a nice strategy to agitate much before signing of 10 th BPS.There were feelers of empty hand to retirees at least from first week of May 2015.But retiree organisations were keeping quiet ,fully trusting our former colleagues as if they will do a Great miracle in the last minute.But nothing has happened.But even subsequently there was no meeting of minds among retiree outfits to start a serious agitation with combined effort.God only knows their strategy and our fate.

All retirees be aware that mobile companies has increased talk time charges and data charges abnormally.If you are not taken 1p/2sec pack than they are charging Rs.2.50 per minute.Same may be noted in data plan,some mobile companles  was earlier charging Rs.98 for 1GB 3G data for 28 days now same has been increased to Rs.193,while some companies earlier charging Rs.168 now the same gone up to 298.

I wish each one of you a very happy, hopeful new year 2016.

 

 

Though I mention a ‘hopeful’ year I am myself confused with the happenings around the corner.We peacefully rest, relying fully on the confederation and UFBU.At the same time, I have slight confusions on the rumblings within the confederation over the egoistic views of certain leaders.Hope they would subside in the coming days to save the ailing retirees.

 

Yesterday I had the opportunity to meet one of my old colleagues who was a leader of yesteryears, and now an EC member of a retirees outfit.On enquiry  of the latest developments, he told me that nothing is possible due to paucity of funds.When asked about the corpus of Rs  1 80000 cr he explained to me that it was tfd from banks’ P&L acs.The banks may not be able to disburse pension after a few years.I tried to convince him otherwise but he was adamant,perhaps due to ignorance or otherwise.

 

Friends, what I wished to convey through such an unimportant conversation is that our enemies are well within. The authorities find it very easy to sideline us through the help of the irresponsible attitudes of such anti retiree forces.

 

Let us stop mudslinging on the constituents of UFBU who fought for us . But at the same time we should identify such isolated  individuals and  shut their mouths telling in clear terms that if the banks tfr any money to pension funds, it is purely statutory and nothing thing merciful. This is on account of the past struggles of UFBU with our support. Such loose talks could only strengthen the authorities and not help the retirees.

 

 

Friends, let us keep vigil on such anti retiree forces!

           The workshop on Medical Insurance Scheme is organised by SBM Pensioners' Commune for their members at Bangalore and at nearby places. The members have an option to attend it for their own good, if they are interested, making their own arrangements for travel. The retirees' union do not have large funds to meet heavy miscellaneous expenses. For courtesy sake, they can offer a cup of tea with snacks, or a lunch. They have already conducted several workshops at Bangalore, Mysore, Tumkur etc., where there are a large number of members.  No other retirees' union is conducting such workshops, please note.
