There had been consensus in the past by a large group of people that we
could run some events prior to getting a hackerspace in order to build up
our community. We have gone out and gotten a temporary space for us to do
that now. What will be our next event?

I've been liaising with Web Courses Bangkok to firm up scheduling
availability of the space and so forth -- I will share and discuss with the
group when we've arrived at some substantive material to report. Once we
have some of these details settled, I'd like to speak with the organizers of
existing, established meetups that WCB has been hosting in hopes of having
them affiliate with BKK Hackerspace and schedule events through us rather
than WCB maintaining separate points of contact with each group.

I'm open to feedback on this line of thinking but generally I've been
holding off on sending a message out to the list about it until some details
are solidified. I think it would be great to hold a kick-off event in
celebration once these things are ironed out (even better if we can mold it
into a *benefit* event =]).

We use Google Apps so it will be easy for us to setup an account and that
way we can see the WCB calendar and book the rooms and times etc.
