Hi guys,

 I feel the clojure.contrib is kind of confusing in the new 1.3 beta  .. may be we can all sit together and may be port some of the old clojure-contrib libraries to 1.3 beta this weekend. This can serve as a good clojure-hacking.. We all have been thinking about it for a long time.. may be this is a good place to start. If you are all busy this weekend we can try some other weekend.. Please comment ..

IIRC c.c.contrib is deprecated in Clj 1.3 - there are individual projects being picked up by various people to turn into incubator components. If they prove mature, they get included into Clojure proper. Any particular library in your mind?

Hi Shantanu,

In particular I was looking to use priority-map from mark-elenberg.. It is already, in 1.3 (in fact it only works in 1.3 ..) but I feel that I could not find a good pattern for using the libraries.. I use google codesearch a lot .. and found no examples of the same there. So, as a start can you probably give me the entry needed in project.clj for the priority-map library. The only place I seem to find it is in the master branch of the clojure github repo..

We can also consider trying to get the clojure as the officially supported language for this times google-ai-challenge. Jark might form a good candidate. This is also probably a good 1-day hacking project. Thanks,
