Cyclists Volunteer to Deliver Essentials to Elders

I would be happy to volunteer, and I am sure many of us in the cycling community would be too, for inspiration, we can look at the mindboggling distances Anil Kadsur alone does every day!

Not a good idea if I may say so. The need of the hour is to stay put indoors and not venture out unless it is absolutely critical. I mean, the last thing we want as cyclists is to get sweaty with a soggy mask and become an asymptomatic carrier posing risk to ourselves, outsiders and people in our own household.  Most of the services (at least in Bangalore) can be availed of online, so it would be nice if we can help them in procuring the items via telephone, internet etc. without stepping out.

Had seen tweets from @BicycleMayorBLR few days back, about this.  They do mention focussing on safety protocols, though lot will also depend on each volunteer.  If anyone has more specific on how they are going about this, it will be helpful to know.  I was considering joining.

Anil is probably part of the Hubli-Dharwad volunteer group, doing up/down everyday (if_not for every delivery), from BLR. :P
