For those of you interested in seeing the hard route,
1. Go to in.maps.yahoo.com, Yahoo India Maps
2. Copy/paste the following:
"from Banashankari Temple Bangalore to Gabbadi Karnataka to
Doddamaralavadi to Hunsanahalli to Anchetti to Denkanikottai to Anekal
to Bannerghatta to Banashankari Temple Bangalore"
Georg, you are the leader. Would you recommend doing the hard route or
the easy route?
THanks!

Was it the non stop upward incline
on the way back from Anchetti, the one where you didn't really see
hills but were climbing like crazy??
If that is the one, it is a very long strenuous climb, but the surface
was OK no?
I think roadies will be fine, just have to put some muscle into it.

@George
I am very much familier on return route from Denkani kotta to
Bangalore. My first cycle trip was bangalore to our village(I
purposfully took slightly different route Bangalore-->Chanda pura--
>Atti belli--->Hosur Check post-->Madha gonda palli--->Kakka dasam----
> My home). But Denkani kotta--> Thali-->Anekal-->Jigini--->Banner
gatta--->Bangalore is very good and very less traffic and short too.
on the way back in the middle of Denkani kotta, Thali route there are
two cycle repair shops are there(at kakkadasam 8km from Denkani
kotta).
at Thali also there is a cycle shop is there.
at Denkani kotta and Anekal I have no Idea where cycle repair shops
are located.
on the way back if any help requires I am ready for that my home is
just 4 1/2 km diversion from Denkani kotta and Thali route.
@neera
I think you can use sopport cars till the starting point in case if
you could not find other way. I am riding from IISc at ~4am.
vivek is riding with is car from north bangalore.
