Hello Baltimore Node,

I'm a member of Milwaukee Makerspace here in Wisconsin, and I'll be in Baltimore on Wednesday, August 10th, 2011...

I've got some free time during the day, and was wondering if anyone would be around and willing to give me a quick tour of the space.

Any takers? :)

Thanks!

I have some free time between 2 and 5.  Let me know when you would like to see the space.

Thanks... I'll know more about a time when I'm in town. Will you be there between 2 and 5? Should I contact you directly, or just go there, or...?

Hi list.  I am incompetent.  The whole internet now knows how to reach me at home.  How are you doing internet?

I will likely be at home.  You can reach me here at 410-814-6877 or via email.  It takes me about 30 minutes to get to the space.  Even with the fans it is a little warm this time of year so people do not stick around for very long, and there have been some questions about how to get more participation beyond the Thursday early evening time slot.

I wouldn't worry... I've had my phone number on my blog for at least 6 years, and pretty much no one ever calls. :/

I'm thinking of taking the class to be able to use the
CCBC Fab Lab. I'd appreciate any comments on your
experiences there.

Thanks,

Kevin

I have to second that. The Fab Lab provides access to tools I couldn't get elsewhere. The laser cutter and shopbot are awesome. The guy who helps run the shop, Andy Ta, is a also great resource and has put together a workshop on building your own reprap.
