The Intelligence Community Technology Governance (ICTG) Authentication and Identity and Access Management (IAM) group supports efforts, across the Intelligence Community (IC), to establish policies and technical guidance for the implementation of authentication and IAM solutions and frameworks. ICTG team members prepare reports, white papers, briefings, and policy documentation related to the support of existing and future IC authentication and IAM implementations. Additionally, ICTG team members attend or conduct briefings at meetings, working groups, conferences, and discussions which host audiences composed of varying technical and management skill levels. The ICTG team is seeking a self-motivated, flexible, and willing to take the initiative person to support the ICTG leadership regarding initiatives related to Authentication and IAM.
The primary responsibilities for the ICTG identity and access management support include:
Research and development of new and existing solutions for transferring identifying user attributes and credentials across enterprise and community services Leverage previously developed capabilities, tools, and guidance from either COTS or GOTS solutions and products Identifying business needs and technical requirements and translate them into technical specifications Maintain knowledge of current security trends and technologies and the ability to track new and emerging security trends and technologies applicable to authentication and IAM Demonstrate advanced problem solving, decision making, and functional knowledge Posses the ability to provide consultation on how to establish, monitor, and implement authentication and IAM controls Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of certification and accreditation processes Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Manage, prioritize, and track actions and projects Support current ICTG processes and activities Reporting on status and completion of assigned actions Performing other related duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
Posses 7-10 years technical experience, with 5 years related to authentication and IAM A Bachelors degree in computer science or applicable technical area, Masters degree preferred Experience with IAM, PKI, LDAP, Active Directory, Role Based Access Controls, Web Services, and Single Sign On Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint Possess outstanding verbal and written communicative skills An Industrial Security Staff Approval/Top Secret (ISSA/TS) clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a full field background investigation and a counter-intelligence polygraph test
