Description: Our Client, a Maryland based network engineering and consulting firm, has an extensive pedigree in the network engineering community.
Over 30% of their staff is CCIE certified with some of the earliest certifications in the country! They have had a hand in building some of the largest network infrastructures in the United States. They have extensive experience with:
Network design (from conception through implementation, including large-scale routing protocol upgrades and network migrations
VoIP design, deployment and troubleshooting
Network Security Firewalls, Intrusion detection, incident response and escalation, security policy articulation and compliance checking
Network performance evaluation and optimization
Troubleshooting
Infrastructure Project Management
They are seeking to build their expertise by adding a Sr. level CCIE (or similar level) with Voice Experience.
The ideal candidate will have a CCIE Voice, or CCVP.
You should have strong design and deployment expertise with Call Manager and Unity.
Experience with the following is also very helpful:
MCSE (specifically Strong Microsoft skills for working w/ Unity and the integration of third party tools)
MS Exchange
QoS
IP Telephony
IPT Troubleshooting
Gateway/Gatekeeper
Unity Design and Support
IPCC Express
IP Interactive Voice Response (IVR)
Experience with 3rd party applications such as Berbee InformaCast a HUGE plus
These positions require regional (DC/MD/VA) travel along with occasional out of region travel (less than 30%).
While you will have access to a MD based test lab, you will work out of a home office environment.
The client has a mix of Commercial and Federal accounts, so no one requiring an employment visa sponsorship will be considered.

You should have excellent oral and written skills, and have a strong consultative manner.
