Hello, thanks for admitting me to the group. I, of course, live in
Bakersfield and use Ubuntu and Debian. It would be cool to have a
meeting time and place but even if we can not organize in person due
to scheduling and location, there is always the ability to use google
Hangouts as a way to share information.

Welcome Justin!!! Unfortunately to the best of my knowledge the group is not very active. I no longer live in bakersfield:-( otherwise I would be available. I think hangouts is best. I love Google plus just never use it because none of my friends do. But It would be cool to give it a shot:-)  once again welcome.

Hi Justin,

Welcome to the BakoLUG!
If you propose a meeting place/time, some members may be up for it.

Personally, I'm usually busy and don't use Google+, so I may not be
able to make it.

Sorry for not responding sooner. School and family. What distro do you
like to use most?

At this point, anything that will work with my printer. Cups 1.5 won't get along with it. I mainly use windows because It works with my stuff. I would love to switch over but my hardware is prohibiting that. I am a debian based  man myself. I like the syntax the best and feel it has best support

If that is an open question, I'll answer, if not, disregard.
I use Trisquel(5.0 at the moment).

I assumed it was. My apologies of it wasn't.

Yes, it was an open question.

Yeah, it is all good. Sorry email messaging for me is just as slow as
snail mail due to my habit of never checking. I am interested in all
kinds of distributions.
