Dear all,

Here are some final points for all the lovely people who have volunteered to help set up and take down on Sunday.
Please send me a quick email to say you have 'received' and confirm you are attending and an approximate time.

Set up is from 7am on Sunday. Meeting place and 'Set -up Coordination Team' will be  under the archway near The Coffee Shop (formerly SHOTZ). If in doubt, ask a person in a hi-vis waistcoat where to go!

When you arrive, you will be given the next job on the list (or the next one you feel you can do). Geoff and Stefan will be allocating these.

Please bring a pair of gloves as some of the jobs are a little dirty as things have been in storage.  Some of the wood on the stalls is a little rough and the joins also have a tendancy to catch fingers - so please be careful! Also bring a sense of humour! You may also need wet weather gear!!

We need to have the street ready by 1pm for a 'Safety Check' so all major jobs need to be completed by then.  After that, it will be putting up last bits of bunting and maybe helping some of he stall holders get ready.

If you feel you can help during the event to help change bin bags, help at busy charity stalls etc, please let me know on the day.

At the end of the day - running up to 6pm - again report to underneath the archway for jobs which need to be done. We have asked stall holders to dismantle their stalls and hopefully move them so they can be returned to storage, but they may require some help with this. If you see someone struggling, please help.

Some street bunting needs to be taken down, but many shops and pubs have put their own up, so this can stay. Check first!

Tables and chairs need to be loaded back into the vans to be taken back to the halls who have kindly lend them for the day. People required at both ends.

There will be a great need for all rubbish to be collected and put into the big bins hired for the day. The street needs to left litter free. Hopefully, we will clean as we go!

Finally, I am sure we will all have a great day - Many Hands Make Light Work!

Kind regards
Tina Carney
