The Lisa May Foundation is a Bagshot based charitable foundation wanting to help people on your doorstep and in the wider global community too.

Our main aim is to raise awareness of our work and raise funds to continue to providing an extra resource to our local community.

Our original roots lie in fundraising to supply aid to natural disaster relief around the world, our first project sprang from personal disaster.  Lisa May the daughter of Cllr John May our immediate past Mayor Of Surrey Heath lost her life to the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami.  Money raised went directly to the disaster area and helped put the fisherman of Thailand back to work by building them 39 new longboats.

We then went on to other projects around the globe as and when we found causes we could guarantee to get aid to directly.  Places we have helped so far include: Thailand, Brazil, Haiti

In the UK 2 students have received scholarships to put through university who might not have had the opportunity to further their education.
