Dear all,
First a plea from the Wednesday Toddler Group which operate in the Church Hall at the bottom of Church Road.

The group is in danger of closing down unless new members and volunteers come forward. Please go to this link for more information. The group is open to parents, grandparents, childminders and other child carers, but CRB checked adults are also welcome to come along and help out. The group has been running for at least 25 years and it has been a great asset to the village. Any help or suggestions gratefully received.

Hardys in The Square is under going a change. It will close its doors on Saturday for the last time as Hardys ......... but it will re-open in about  week with a brand new name and menu ...... watch this space! The quiz evenings will recommence in March .... date to be confirmed. Good luck Ricky and your team.

A Sports Relief Mile is coming to Bagshot - but of course, being Bagshot, we have to be different!
On Sunday 25th March, you will have the opportunity to walk a mile in aid of Sports Relief ......... on a treadmill! Thanks  to Lightwater Leisure Centre, we have acquired two or three machines to stand proudly outside Shotz Cafe in the High Street. If you are over 14 you will be able to book a slot and walk the mile at your own pace. You will need to make a donation or get some sponsors to pay for the privilege. There will also be collection buckets if you don't want to do the mile but wish to donate. We are also hoping to organise a small raffle, so any prizes gratefully received. I will be there to face paint any little people and there will be refreshments available all day in Shotz.
Look out for the posters for more information in the very near future.

and by popular demand ......... the Bagshot Owls will be back for an Easter Egg Hunt around the village. I will organising this on behalf of The Lisa May Foundation (see their website or see them on Facebook)  with the help of all the businesses in Bagshot. Look out for more information nearer the Easter school holidays.

Kind regards
Tina Carney
