First draft of our ontology specs / request for comments
Hi. You may have heard about our efforts in the past, and this time, we have finally managed to stabilize a specs document for an ontology that tries to model relationships between bugs (as bug reports filed in bugtrackers) and other bugs reported in different bugtrackers, as well as the links between bugs and software package versions (bugs found or... more »

Gforge and doap
A tab I have had opened for a while, but I thought someone here could be interested before I loose it. "[Linking-open-data] DOAP and the GForge ontology" [link] Henry Social Web Architect [link]

Simplifying things
Most of the proposals I've seen around this work seem to be horrifically overcomplicated. In particular, BOM suffers from what I think is a terrible antipattern: it includes inverse properties for every relationship in the ontology. This instantly complicates any processing you want to do with the data.... more »

Baetle future - refocusing the purpose considering recent activity in this area ?
Hi. I'd like to share a few thoughts about baetle, and how/where future work should lead us, hoping to receive interesting feedback. There are at the moment very interesting things happening on OSLC-CM side (see my previous post : [link] ) mainly in the area of REST APIs to allow interoperability between bugtrackers and other tools.... more »

Change Management 1.0 Specification by OSLC : Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration
Hi. Anyone heard about this effort ? This looks fairly compatible with Baetle effort... (the model may be a bit behind what we're doing, still ;) Pointers : "Change Management 1.0 Specification" ([link]) More details from [link]... more »

Triplifying bugtrackers short paper
Hi. I thought I had mentioned it, but probably forgot. We've participated to the triplify challenge recently (and unfortunately didn't get any reward), but still we wrote down some ideas that we'd like to share with you. Here's the abstract : To interconnect bugtrackers, and especially the one used to manage free... more »

Hello everyone, My name is Valentin Vlasceanu and I'm a PhD student at TELECOM&Management SudParis. The subject of my thesis is “Bugtracking” and I'm also involved in the Helios project, on which I'm working closely with Olivier Berger. Bug exchange format
Hi. FYI, two debian developpers have been thinking about a bug exchange format in : [link] I think some of you might be interested. I've already responded to them pointing to our efforts and mentioning baetle : [link]... more »

Triplifying bugzilla with EvoOnt BOM : testers wanted
Hi. We've got a working prototype of triplification of bugzilla, in the same vein as the Debian bugs from UDD we mentioned last week, again using EvoOnt BOM and extensions. I's documented at [link] and the prototype is running on [link]... more »
