This was sent to me by a friend and while it is funny, it is also a reminder that we need to get our voter ID in order.  I am horrified that the Republican Party pushed through legislation to require voter ID AND did it so fast that many people have trouble getting the valid voter ID.

I've heard the story of one woman who never drove and her birth certificate (she is elderly) is in Georgia.  In order to vote, this woman needs to go to Georgia and find it??

Remember the 2010 election when Septa had a surprise strike on election day making it very hard for those without cars to get to their poling places?

This law is discriminatory, but the Republican Party has not allowed enough time for any law suit against this law to progress though our courts.  Besides, our Supreme Court has a tendency to rule for the rich and against the poor.

If you are as angry as I, you can put your money where your mouth is and donate to the NAACP   http://tinyurl.com/ck4x765.

And now for the joke:

Longest Password ever...
We laugh -- but her I. D. is safe.
During a recent password audit by a company, it was found that an employee was using the following password:
"MickeyMinniePlutoHueyLouieDeweyDonaldGoofySacramento"
When asked why she had such a long password, she rolled her eyes and said: "Hello! It has to be at least 8 characters long and include at least one capital."

Make sure to check your ID and see that it matches EXACTLY to the name on the voter registration (If you didn't do that for the primary, do it now).    Also, there must be a date on this GOVERNMENT ISSUED ID that is current.  To find the name on voter registration, call your ward leader of the Democratic Party.  If you need help with this, email me and I will help.

EVERY VOTE COUNTS!!

Meg
