"Regular" event this Sunday, & Event director needed for June 2

Everyone is welcome
at our "Regular" event this Sunday, May 19, 2013. The event will be at Umstead Park on the Reedy Creek side accessible from I-40. When you enter the park you will park in the main parking area and follow our signs to the start location at the large picnic shelter at the far left end of the parking lot.

Blue Course
We will be offering a 10k blue course at this event, but you must pre-register for the blue course by Saturday at 6pm. because we will only print enough maps for those who pre-register. The Blue course includes a 9 control sprint near the end of the course as well as some long legs.
The course opens at noon (maybe earlier if we finish setting early) and closes at 3pm. We hope some people will stick around till the end and help us pick up the controls.
Event director needed for June 2, 2013
We don't have an event director for the Regular event scheduled on June 2 at Schenck Forest. If someone doesn't step forward to run this event we will have to cancel it. You can volunteer for just part of the event like Registration or Course Design or Setting. If we get a team together then we can do it. Please send your replies to In...@BackwoodsOK.org.
