This candidate cannot be just a heads down coder. MUST understand BizTalk coding from the big picture viewpoint. Strong experience with BizTalk artifacts
Position Overview:
The BizTalk Developer will schedule and execute the design, implementation and unit test of new development, enhancements, bug fixes and production updates. They will document designs as needed, troubleshoot production problems and initiate promotion of code to test, staging and production environments through firm's change control process. This individual will also participate in the requirements process, assisting in the creation and review of requirements artifacts such as use cases, UI prototypes, domain models, etc. They will also contribute to creation, compliance, and mentoring IT development and change management processes and procedures.
This position is for a "hands on", experienced (but not Senior-level) BizTalk developer, so input into our process and our technical solutions are expected.
Required Skills:
Three to five years of .NET development and web services (ASP / JavaScript) experience
Three to five years of BizTalk 2006 R2 (BizTalk 2006 acceptable) and BizTalk 2010 - development, administration, and installation
Previous exposure to XSLT, SQL Server 2003/2005/2008, Oracle,
Windows 2003 Server, Web Logic platform (WL Server, WL Integration & WL Workshop) a plus
Message queuing technologies such as MSMQ or MQ Series, XML, XQuery, XSTL and XPATH
Experience with the use of BAM within the BizTalk model
Previous experience in design and development of BPM and SOA solutions
Previous experience in design and implementation of Microsoft ESBGuidance
Understanding of transaction data transport and messaging solutions.
Understanding of Transaction and batch processing and transaction status monitoring
Thorough experience in Interface development (Mapping, routing,business rules, etc.)
Experience with Monitoring tools and concepts.
Experience with SOAP UI
Evaluate, troubleshoot, and performance monitor custom BizTalk applications; and implement BizTalk application tuning and programming optimization to achieve maximum performance.
Assist in the preparation of detailed project plans includingscope, requirements, time lines, deliverables, and testing schedules.
Ensure thorough testing of BizTalk applications at the unit, integration and system levels before release execution.
Ensure appropriate documentation, operating instructions and training is provided for all applications developed including extensive use of comments within code written or modified.

SSRS
Other core integration tools and services
Data modeling and Database Administration
Version control system such as StarTeam
MISMO standards
Experience with Microsoft TFS
Experience with offshore teams, development and quality assurance.
