Immediately after our last meeting in the evening of 19th April I
tentatively booked the next two sessions as the afternoons of Friday
25 May and Friday 29 June. Neither of the Thursdays was available.

It now transpires that I can't make either of them.

Has anyone any suggestions for topics of discussion, fascinating
discoveries, name-dropping anecdotes, world problems to be solved?

Can I see a show of hands of those who would be likely to make Friday
25 May and/or Friday 29 June at the usual place and time?

Early feedback would be appreciated.

I can make both dates in May and June.

As far as topics are concerned I would like to think about things like integrating APL with other programs such as Image Magick, Devil (as seen in the APLwiki) and even visual basic and Excel. I know I am trying to catch up from being 15 years behind so I do not expect these topics to appeal to many of us.

OK, it looks like a quorum.

BAA-London Next meeting will be on Friday 25 May.

The Albion
2/3 New Bridge Street
City of London
London

BAA-London is the London branch of the British APL Association which
attempts to encourage those interested in arrays languages based on
Iverson Notation: APL, J, K and Q. We are a congenial bunch and easy
to find so come along and find out what it's all about.

We have the upstairs room from 14.30 'til 17.30. Meet downstairs
earlier if you can.

We have the makings of an agenda:

Ellis:
... would like to think about things like integrating APL with other
programs such as Image Magick, Devil (as seen in the APLwiki) and even
visual basic and Excel.

Stephen is:
Happy to share what I’m noodling with in the new k and kOS.

Anyone else:
Bring coding problems to exercise the old hands and solutions to amaze
us all.

June meeting will be on Friday 29th, same place, same time.

Due to an oversight on my part I might have Chris' only video cable
and I'm not coming on Friday.

Someone (not us) walked off with the Albion's only one.

If anyone: Ellis, Stephen, anyone-else, is intending to take a machine
and plug into the screen can he/she please take a suitable cable
along. I believe the box on the wall is enabled for VGA and HDMI and
perhaps other whatever-they-are - connections.

Have a good meeting.

Aaaah, I’m sorry to disappoint but I have to scratch from this month's ah – symposium. (The good news is I will have more K to show later…)
