Parking at Fremont Ardenwood Park and Ride

I am looking at a commute route which has me parking at Ardenwood P&R and then taking the Dumbarton express. I am trying to determine how difficult it is to get a parking spot (without the $50 reserved spots) between 7-8am in the mornings during the weekday.
If anyone parks there, would you mind sharing your experiences on this topic? Also, is it relatively safe place to leave the car an entire day?... more »

I usually get on at El Cerrito Del Norte Station and if it's during morning commute time, a kid would just cut in front of me and get on the train ahead of everybody else like he's the President of the United States.

Amtrak CC to local transportation transfer

I noticed yesterday on the Capitol Corridor train that there is a poster
reading "ask your conductor for a free transfer to local transit"
including AC Transit and VTA.
Is this a new feature? Have anyone here successfully used such a transfer?

So I have autoload on my Clipper card for BART. When my currently credit card expired, they attempted to add value to my card and of course it didn't go through. BART Transfer Question

Okay, let's say I grabbed a transfer from the BART station to get on a local bus. It says I get fifty cents off if I show the transfer to the bus driver. Do I need to pay the rest of the bus fare in cash or would Clipper know how much to deduct?
