When the left turn arrow comes on, but the motorist ahead of you keeps
her head bent forward and doesn't move, what's the best way to apprise
her of the changed light?
If further detail helps, the car's license plate frame indicated she

most likely to text while driving?
I rarely see men or other women texting while driving, just these
twenty-something or younger women.
I find this a bit interesting, because outside of driving it appears to me
that both men and women (especially those in their 30s or younger) tend to
spend the same amount of time texting. It's just that young women appear
not to be able to refrain from it while they're driving a vehicle.

But when I'm driving, I tend to notice more those drivers that impede by
travel. At stop lights, it's often young women who are texting.

Not to be sexist here, but it appears that women in general insist on
texting and talking about every little thing whereas men are content to talk
only when necessary. Think about this: How many women are on the phone
trying to reach their boyfriends throughout the day? How many men are on
the phone trying to reach their girlfriends?

Considering that my mother was a feminist union activist with the United
Food & Commercial Workers union local 870 and gained equal pay and
conditions for female workers at Safeway and other unionized stores and food
processors, yes I do know what the word "sexist" is.

of truth. My wife is a feminist (and her mother even more so, at a
time when it was groundbreaking), yet she'll yack on the phone for
hours, and make me fix all the tech stuff. It's ok, people don't need
to be doctrinaire about it, it's bad to not be able to describe the
reality (AKA being PC).
