I'm running a write in campaign for BART Director, District 7 on the LOWER FARES platform

Hi guys,
I wanted to vote for a candidate that was promising to spend all of his or her waking days as a member of the board figuring out how to make lower fares possible, instead of not doing that at all, ever, which is what we have now.
No one is running in D7 on that platform, so now I am.
If you like the idea of telling the BART board that lowering fares is more important to you than pretty much anything BART could do (besides maintenance, duh)then write me in and tell other people to do it too.

Why should we vote for you? I don't recall seeing your name here in these
discussions before, so how do we know that you even care about public
transit? I'd think that if you did you'd have been all over this newsgroup
for years prior to now.
What exactly qualifies you as a candidate? Have you worked for BART or
another agency? Do you have any skills in business, in management, in
public policy?
