Do you want to revolutionize the look and feel of wireless
phone user interfaces?
UI Graphic Artists:
Work closely with user interaction designers and usability
engineers to create innovative graphical interfaces for handheld
devices
Implement visual design based on interaction specifications
Suggest solutions to usability problems through sketches, diagrams,
and prototypes
Develop distinct graphical styles that differentiate product
lines
Rapidly deliver multiple visual design alternatives based on
the user interaction design
Develop screen prototypes to support usability tests
UI Graphic Artists need the following skills:
Proven ability to create impressive, intuitive graphics for
small-screened devices
Experience designing interfaces within a product development
organization and proven ability to ship successful UIs
Ability to balance several projects simultaneously without
sacrificing attention to detail
The position requires a BA/BS in a related field and excellent
communication skills. Education with strong HCI component is
preferred. Must have extraordinary visual and interaction design
skills. Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, Director, HTML,
and other rapid prototyping tools is required. Experience with
visual design processes and techniques, such as color theory,
layout, typography, and human computer design process is required.
Familiarity with issues related to small screen UI for handheld
devices is desired
Restrictions:
Due to Time Constraints, Locals and Permanent Residents only
Full Time candidates only. No contractors or Job Hoppers (1.5 yrs
or more at each position). Locals given Preference.
