Art for CRY
-----------
CRY (Child Relief & You) was started as an Indian reaction to the unjust
situation of Indian children, by ordinary people willing to make a
difference.It is a non-political, non-religious, non-profit independent
organization; its chief objective is to restore to children their basic
right to food, shelter, health, and education - in short, a future. In 16
years, CRY has reached out to over 650,000 children through more than
135 voluntary organizations. 10% of the funds generated by CRY Inc.
in the USA go towards funding various projects in the USA.

MUTATIONS - an exhibition and sale of paintings by India's leading
artist, Ms. Anjolie Ela Menon, will be held for one month starting on
Oct 11 in NY.

Ms. Anjolie Menon has also graciously donated one of her paintings -
"Green Street Friday" to CRY in support of underprivileged children in
India. CRY will be conducting a raffle of this painting, to
generate resources to support child welfare projects in India. Each ticket
costs $10.

The winning raffle ticket will be drawn on October 19, 1996 in NY.
