Is E'Angelo (Chestnut St. in the Marina) any good? There's a coupon
out currently: $37 for two three-course dinners. I ate there a long,
long time ago, on a date, and I only remember two things about it: the
restaurant had family-style seating, and the woman I was with kept
touching her napkin to the corners of her mouth.

maybe she was trying to politely signal you to wipe your face.

Nice! $37 for an Italian Dinner for Two (Up to $76.50 Value)
One appetizer (up to a $17 value)
Two entrees (up to a $26 value each)
One dessert (a $7.50 value)

At under $40, you can afford to figure it out on your own. I am
personally allergic to deals I have to pay for in advance, so I'll
wait for it to show up on Black Board Eats (BBE).

It's certainly possible. The relationship went nowhere.

Was this woman randomly seated across from you by the waitress?

I never went on that kind of date. An unknown woman seated randomly
across from me, dabbing at the corners of her mouth, would seem
mysterious and intriguing. The same behavior on the part of a woman I
met at work, where I would see her every day regardless of how the
date turned out, made me itchy. I mean, what if I bumped into her in
the break room, and she was eating a tuna fish sandwich, and dabbing
at the corners of her mouth? What then?

During our dinner at E'Angelo it didn't dawn on me that she might have
been trying to let me know that I had food on my face. But I can't
remember what I ate, or whether any of it landed somewhere other than
in my mouth.
