live music. All dances are taught, no partner is necessary,
and first-timers are welcome unless otherwise noted.

Supporter: $15
Regular: $10 on Friday/Saturday/Sunday, $9 on weeknights
Member Discount: $2 from regular prices
Student/Low-income: $5
or pay what you can.

CONTRA NOTE: This Saturday's Palo Alto contra dance features a rare return
by caller Kirston Koths (who helped start contra in the Bay Area),
accompanied by the Celtic sounds of An Drochaid ("An Drockitch"), with
the Scottish fiddle of Jonathan Goodwin, piano of Debra Tayleur,
percussion by bodhran-maker Del Eckels and Elizabeth Douglas. It should be
amazingly good fun.

ENGLISH NOTE: BACDS's primarily-English dance weekend, Fall Frolick
< www.bacds.org/fallfrolick > (to be held October 16-18)
is full and running a short waiting list. Go to the Palo Alto English dance on
the 16th!
