I have come to respect the opinion of leanstotheleft, and I
find the above comments about him to be sick and pathetic.
What kind of "man" would resort to such a low and berate
another for their opinions. I suspect that Bill Wattenberg
is into golden showers himself. KGO staff are control
freaks, wishing to control the opinions in this newsgroup.
It won't work.

Please give examples of how KGO staff have attempted
to control the opinions expressed in this group.

Wattenburg's remarks were, as usual, juvenile, but I
saw no attempt on his part to stifle others' postings.
Not that such attempts would bear fruit anyway.

Actually, I thought they were spot-on!

The one who said...

No more than when everyone else tries it.

As I indicated in another post, KGO hosts are not any worse than those
here who are the most vocal of their critics.

Boy, if only we could hear what Bill really thinks in truck stop/
logging wood language. I thought he was rather restrained in light of
some of the things he has been called and accused of here. Looks like
some of these sensitive ba broadcast keyboard warriors have never
strayed far from the comfort of their armchairs.

Yeah, especially some of the liberals in the group. Forget
conservative, they became reactionary in their priggery.

I don't see too many control freaks here. Only a few in
any newsgroups. I was accused by one of them of trying to take
over this newsgroup and other such nonsense. But thankfully we
have ba.broadcast.moderated where we can read about broadcasting
and leave all this junk to the people who just want to talk
about the topics of talk show hosts.

There is only one LLTL! I have no idea who did that post.

I'm swigging that Kirland bottled water, just waiting for Dr. Bill's
shoe....

You yourself are to be praised for your tireless
service on Usenet. You must spend
14 hours a day at it, seven days a week.
KGO is fortunate to have such a dedicated
defender.

He posts about KGO almost as often as you do.

But for "non-listeners" you are the most prolific.
In fact, you "non-listen" more than anyone I know.

It would seem (from reading the related posts) that one DOES get better
HD radio reception by wearing said hats.
