Good story done by Joe Vazquez.
Shows the Banana Republic, owned by The Gap, is hiring loads of
foreign workers from outside the country while turning down applicants
who are citizens and legal immigrants living here.

http://cbs5.com/local/banana.republic.hiring.2.1335192.html

CBS-5 sent in two staffers posing as applicants and they were told
they weren't hiring.
Then The GAP spokesman says those HR people were mistaken and blamed
it on them being new hires during the holiday rush..

The GAP, Banana Republic, and the PR people all have a thick coating
of egg on their face.
Clearly they are a bunch of lying sacks of excrement.

That's it for me, during the worst recession in 70 years and these
bastards are bringing in workers from Brazil, South Africa, and
elsewhere, paying them minimum wage, while charging $50+ a pair for
jeans.

Greed, ugly greed by the GAP and its affiliated companies Banana
Republic and Old Navy.
Boycott the greedy buzzards...

Can you imagine the reception the guy who set up this policy is going
to get Monday morning.
Could the timing be worse... Beginning of the Christmas season and
the unemployment rate anywhere from 12.5 to 17.5 percent in
California, and they come up with the plan to bring in workers from
overseas at minimum wage.

I would hope this story has legs in the media and on the internet.
