Subject: Tunnel Road Hit & Run Caught on Bicyclist's Video!

The police were able to get the license number from the video and have
contacted the hit and run driver.  Looks like on-bike video is the way to
go.

I can't help but notice you didn't say anything about the two stop signs
these two spokeheads blew off in addition to the illegal straight thru
from the right turn lane. I guess their time was up.

Hit and run is far worse than blowing two stopsigns when there was no
traffic coming.  Yes, they shouldn't have blown the stop signs, but that
doesn't excuse the motorist from deliberately running them down, which is
apparent from the video.

It is not at all apparent to me that they were 'deliberately' run down.
The video was pointing forwards and you have absolutely no way of
knowing what was going on behind prior to the impact.

I can't disagree, but fleeing the scene of an accident is still a
felony, and no amount of stop sign running can justify hit and run.

It sounds like the bikers are okay (from sfgate), and I hope the police
can make a case against the driver.
