Friends, I am glad to bring to your kind notice that a Certificate
Course in Indian Mathematics & Astronomy is started
at the reputed National College, Basavanagudi (NCB), Bangalore-4.
This is a unique course designed for about 40 hours for the
benefit of degree students of NCB to familiarize interested
participants with our coveted national heritage of Maths and
Astronomy. Classes will be held on Saturdays between 2-30 and 4-30
p.m. This venture is a part of the "National Year of Mathematics".
May I appeal to you all to encourage your younger wards studying at
NCB to benefit themselves of this opportunity?
