Yelagiri for Dec -1st

Yelagiri as a few of you would know is a hill station about 180KM from B'lore on the way to Madras (Close to Tirupattur, Jolarpet), and harbours some wonderful skies
Accomodation will be at Hotel O'Nila. Cottage charges will be shared. Weather predictions are all positives as yet.

no yelagiri. Actually today afternoon Doc called me
and informed about this. I told him it all depends on
my off schedule. Even still it would be *very*
difficult. He told me if majorority of BAS members
cant make it to Yelagiri, he would be heading to
Mahabalipuram. So guys let's try!
Actually this is also being done because Mr. Ajay
Talwar, an experienced senior amateur from Delhi would
be coming here. There has been a documentary on him,
the "first astrophotography" docu on an Indian
amateur, on NDTV Good Times!! He and his group have
also visited Hanle telescope @ 15K feet and taken some
exotic images of skies!! He is part of a very active
AAAD (amateurs of Delhi) in collabaration with Delhi
Planetarium.
Lets hope we can make it then, even though 1st is a
Half Moon night.
