Workshop on 29th and 30th Nov 2008 @ JNP

Dear All,

There is a workshop arranged by J N Planetarium, Bangalore on 29th and 30 Nov. I request you to participate and make the best use of this workshop.

The workshop will be mainly focused on what should be done for the event of 1st December and a similar one later on 31st December.

The program will be

29th Nov

10:30 introduction to occultation and retrograde motion of planets (BSS)

14:00 Astrophotography with special reference to conjunctions (Dilip)

17:00 practical sessions with telescopes

30th Nov

10:30 demo of some softwares which may be useful to arrange public outreach

11:00 Jantar Mantar principle and activities (VSS Shastry)

There is no session in the after noon to facilitate those who would like to return home and make arrangements

Please note : you will have to register your name for this workshop. ASAP

I would like to participate in the workshop being held on 29th and 30th of Nov .My name is Vidya Gopalakrishnan and I am  anew member of BAS .I have just registered online .I was trying to reacht he Planeterium number but nobody answered the phone .Please let me know if there is any particular procedure other than registering the name for the workshop.

 

I was a member of the Dubai Astronomy club and also editor fo their newsletter .
