I am finding it extremely difficult to realize that he is not with us anymore. He was one person who was always there working hard so that everyone else around is safe and comfortable. Be it arranging for astronomy trips, meetings, trekking or anything else, he was one person leading and guiding us. We have learnt a lot from him. These are difficult times for all of us and I cannot even imagine the grief of his family. I pray god to give them strength.

Chandru will always live in our memories. May his soul rest in peace.

I joined this B-A-S group just 3 days back and came to know about such a sad and untimely demise of its joint secy. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

I would like to know how such an accident happened, so that we can all learn from it for future.

As I find, Mr. Chandrasekhar  was very popular in BAS and has left a deep impression in the minds of the members. If members agree, it should be possible to name some sky-watching location in his fond memory.

Hello All,
I concur with the views of Shankar to look at the possibility of naming some sky-watching location in his fond memory. I too am new to the BAS but on seeing the way the members are reacting i can make out how nice and dear the person is. Let me also pray God for him.

Hi All,

I am deeply sad and shocked hearing the above news.

I have met Chandru while I was staying in Bangalore for 3 months last
February and March.
A great man willing to support everyone and with great sense of
friendship.

While I was at Bangalore, for job purposes with i-flex, I was very
happy and it was very important for me, integrating with
people from India. Because of that, I am feeling, I lost a very good
friend. As very good friends are for me
all people from BAS I met and I spent time with them, during our trip
to Bappu Observatory and Hogenakal Waterfalls.
Some of my most important times of my life, since I met people like
everyone of you and Chandru from another country,
another continent, another culture but with so many common things at
the end of the day. And believe it or not, more common things, even
compared with my friends here in Greece.

And yes, his name should be given into an astronomy-location.

Please, express my deepest condolences to his family from a very good
friend from Greece. God give strength to them
and make his Soul Rest in Peace.

With Kind Regards and my Regrets from Athens - Greece,
Evangelos Siozos
