I am finding it extremely difficult to realize that he is not with us anymore. He was one person who was always there working hard so that everyone else around is safe and comfortable. Be it arranging for astronomy trips, meetings, trekking or anything else, he was one person leading and guiding us. We have learnt a lot from him. These are difficult times for all of us and I cannot even imagine the grief of his family. I pray god to give them strength.
Chandru will always live in our memories. May his soul rest in peace.

I joined this B-A-S group just 3 days back and came to know about such a sad and untimely demise of its joint secy. My heartfelt condolences to the family.
I would like to know how such an accident happened, so that we can all learn from it for future.
As I find, Mr. Chandrasekhar was very popular in BAS and has left a deep impression in the minds of the members. If members agree, it should be possible to name some sky-watching location in his fond memory.
