problem in attaching the file through email-reg

Thank you very much for the software which enable us to share our knowledge in esoteric science  with our group in Tamil because our students most of them are in downsouth.

we need your help to enlighten us regarding that  when we are attaching a file (MS WORD-IN TAMIL) through email, the receipent is not getting what we have send.

The letters(characters) are changed automatically. for example சிகிச்சை become சிகிச்சன.

Noted your kind words for Azhagi/Azhagi+. But, as ever, ALL thanks to the Lord Almighty only, for everything, for ever.

 

Based on past correspondences with users regarding this same issue (characters appearing disjointed), I presume that the recipients who are facing this problem are using Gmail. In this regard, kindly note the following:

 

1) The issue your recipients are facing is NOT due to Azhagi or Azhagi+ or any other indic software.

2) Your recipients are facing this issue in Gmail since they are opening and viewing their attachments online.

 

3) Solution: Kindly ask your recipients not to view the attachment online by just clicking (and opening it)  but to download the same to their system and then view it in their system using MS-Word, etc. Alternatively, they can view the attachments in 'Google Docs'. To do the same, after clicking and opening the attachment for viewing, in the screen which gets displayed, one has to click on 'Open with' at the bottom right and choose 'Google Docs'. I observe* that this issue happens with Devanagari script also. Probably it is so with all other Indian languages too.

(*) As and when possible, I request users (who use Gmail) to share their views (if any), to correct/enhance/supplement my above observations/solution.

As you stated the receipent is using Gmail and he viewed the attachment on line only. After downloading the attachement, the document is as per the original.

நான் உருவாக்கிய Word (வோர்ட்) ஆவணங்களை என் நண்பர்களுக்கு இணைப்பாக அனுப்பியபோது, இதே பிரச்சினையை நானும் எதிர்கொண்டேன். எனது நண்பர்கள் பெரும்பாலும் நான் அனுப்புவதை ஒரே ஒரு முறை படிப்பவர்கள் மட்டுமே. ஆவணங்களில் திருத்தங்களோ, மாற்றங்களோ செய்யவேண்டிய தேவை இல்லாதவர்கள்.

இச்சூழ்நிலையில் இப்பிரச்சினைக்கு நான் கீழ்க்கண்ட தீர்வைக் கண்டறிந்து பயன்படுத்திவருகிறேன்.

மின்னஞ்சல்களுடன் என் வோர்ட் ஆவணத்தை இணைப்பதற்கு முன் அதை ஒரு PDF ஆவணமாக மாற்றிவிடுகிறேன். இவ்வாறு மாற்றுவதில் பல நன்மைகளை நான் காணுகிறேன். முதலில், என் ஆவணத்தைப் படிப்பதற்காக நான் வாசகர்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கும் சிரமம் தவிர்க்கப் படுகிறது. அவர்கள் என் PDF ஆவணத்தை,  உடனடியாக, நேரடியாகப் படிக்க முடியும்.

இரண்டவதாக, இது எனக்கும் சிரமமான பணியாக இல்லை. இதற்காக நான் CutePDF Writer என்ற வசதியைப் பயன்படுத்துகிறேன். இது கணினி உள்ளேயே இருக்கும் வசதி. கணினியின் புறத்தே உள்ள ஒரு பிரின்டெர் (Printer) கருவியின் மூலம் பிரதி எடுப்பதைப்போன்ற எளிதான வேலைதான். இதே போன்று PDF Creator போன்ற வேறு வசதிகளும், கணினிகளில் காணக்கிடைக்கின்றன.

மூன்றாவதாக, நான் இந்த வேலையை ஒரே ஒரு முறைதான் செய்ய வேண்டும், ஆனால் பல வாசகர்களின் கூடுதல் பணி தவிர்க்கப்படுகிறது.

கடைசியாக, PDF ஆவணத்தின் தோற்றம் வோர்ட் ஆவணத்தைவிட சிறப்பாக இருப்பதுபோல் எனக்குத் தோன்றுகிறது. இது என் தனிப்பட்ட கருத்து, எல்லோராலும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்படும் என்று கூற முடியாது.

ஜிமெயில் மின்னஞ்சல் பயன்பாடு பற்றிய இன்னொரு விஷயம்.

நானும் ஜிமெயில் தான் பயன்படுத்துகிறேன். அதில் செய்திகளை நான் நேரடியாகப் பதிவு செய்தில்லை. அதில் பயன்படுத்தப்படும் லதா எழுத்துரு எனககுப் பிடிக்காத விஷயம். (இதுவும் என் தனிப்பட்ட கருத்து!).

நான் அனுப்ப விரும்பும் செய்தியை முதலில் அழகியின் TSCu_SaiIndira எழுத்துரு பயன்படுத்தித் தயாரித்து, பிறகு Copy and Paste முறையில் ஜிமெயிலில் பதிவு செய்து அனுப்புவதை வழக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளேன். இந்தச் செய்தியும் அவ்வாறே அனுப்பப்படுகிறது.
