Batton family - Galston/Newmilns

I am researching my grandfather George Batton's family in and around
the Galston area.

My great great grandfather was also George Batton and he died in
Newmmilns (Union Street) on 30th September 1872 aged 65 years.
He was living in Saintfield, near Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1867
then moved to Newmilns prior to dying there in 1872. We cannot find
the Batton's on the 1871 Census in Scotland.

George had 6 childre :
Ellen Batton (married James Gordon in Saintfield in 1867) lived in
Riccarton until her death in 1891 in Wellwood, Dunfermline.
Andrew Batton married Lilias McGregor and lived in Galston until early
1900's then moved to Douglas, Lanark
George Batton moved to Cambuslang
Samuel Batton and John Batton both married in Scotland then moved to
New York (Manhattan and Bronx)
Robert Batton lived in Galston but moved to brother John's in 1882.

If anyone know anything about the Batton family in the late 1870's
until now .... please drop me a note.
