Subject: Finnie family of Kilmarnock and Constablewood (Largs)
Hi,

I'm researching this family and have gotten back as far as my 5th
g.grandparents, William Finnie & Ann Boyd, who were married in
Ardrossan in 1745...who are my "brickwall".

I understand from an article in the Kilmarnock Standard (1883) that
the family originally went to Kilmarnock from Constablewood and that
related branches of the family lived and died at Millport on Cumbrae.

I have been downloading newspaper articles relating to the family and
noticed that a few of them lived and died at Annbank.

I'd love to hear from anybody who has any information at all regarding
this family, as well as any information relating to the history of
Annbank.

Kind regards,
Lynne.

Hi:  I am in the United States and I am a descendant of Hugh Campbell of
Galston. I  know he married  Mary Patterson, in 1706;  they had  nine
children.  Hugh and his son Andrew emigrated to the United States,  do not
know how they left or from where. Possibly went to Ireland.  However they
arrived and Andrew married Ruth Dexter Stebbin in 1706 in Connecticut.  I am
trying to fill in the blanks.  Hugh and Mary were married in Galston and
announced their banns in Sorn.  Any information you may be able to send me
will be most appreciated. jeanbu...@gmail.comOriginal Message -----
