axel-1.1.2-beta is out and AXEL git repo opened !

We have updated http://media.epfl.ch/Templates/ a few days ago with a
new distribution of AXEL dated January 16th 2011 (axel-1.1.2 beta).

That release includes mainly maintenance actions to improve the
quality/stability/cross-browser aspects of the library. One of the
small, but important, modification for instance is the new layout of
the source code in the src folder that clearly separates the different
kinds of library components (devices, plugins, filters, services) so
that developers can more easily contribute to create library
extensions.

Last but not least, the development of AXEL is now moving to GitHub:

https://github.com/ssire/axel

You can use the git repo to get the latest version at any time.
Another benefit is that it offers an issue tracker for AXEL (https://
github.com/ssire/axel/issues). There is also a clear path now for
external developers to contribute to the library using git distributed
workflow (see README.md on GitHub).
