I charge for my time, so I usually explain my rates to clients (hourly and daily) so they can begin mentally estimating how much I might charge. After itemising what a client wants from me, I estimate how much time each element will take. E.g: Facebook: 3 hours per week Twitter: 2 hours per week Blog posts: 1 day per month That way the client can see precisely where your time goes, and everything is priced by time, not words. (I never, ever price by words because some words take an awfully long time to write!) Hope that helps, Leif On 8 February 2012 10:32, suse bb wrote: > I've been seeing quite a few jobs along these lines so would also be > interested in what people think about pricing. Sorry for the lack of response - I somehow missed your e= mail.

I charge for my time, so I usually explain my rates to clients (hourly=20 and daily) so they can begin mentally estimating how much I might=20 charge.

After itemising what a client wants from me, I estimate how much time e= ach element will take.

E.g:

Facebook: 3 hours per week
Tw= itter: 2 hours per week
Blog posts: 1 day per month

That way the client can see precisely where your time goes, and everything=20 is priced by time, not words. (I never, ever price by words because some words take an awfully long time to write!)

Hope that helps,

Leif
