Has anyone tried using the Papervision export feature in Swift3D
(www.erain.com)?. It is supposed to generate a .dae Collada file and
a template .fla file that loads it and renders it with Papervision.

We haven't tried Swift3D V6.0 yet. Before we buy it, I have questions
like:

* Did the Papervision export work as advertised?
* Have you tried loading the dae exported from Swift3D into Away3D?
* If so, have you tried AS3Exporter on the imported object?
* Did the materials applied within Swift3D get properly applied in
Away3D?
* Can you apply Away3D materials after loading the dae?

Thanks!

AE3Exporter did not work well
but importing regular DAE  I did not experienced any problem
besides you can replace the texture on demand after importing because
as default the  native texture  is applied automatically

Hey Ralph

i've not used the Papervision export from Swift3D, but if it is producing a separate dae file and fla, then i imagine the dae could be used in Away3d using the Collada importer.

@Michael If the AS3Exporter is not working with your Collada files, we'd be interested to know where they are going wrong!
