Groot Winterhoek (Porterville), Day Hike

Hi Everyone

What is everyone's appetite for a hike at Groot Winterhoek, near Porterville? I am thinking end of January, beginning of February. Reason being that the disa'a are in bloom that time of the year. There are various routes of varying lengths.

I am looking into potentially spending a night there depending on accommodation prices. Staying there will allow us to hike to one of the Shelters and spend the evening swimming in the rock pools etc, then we can make our way back comfortably the next day. However, I am leaning stronger to keeping it a day hike. Driving through very early and then coming back in the late afternoon.

Let me know so that I can get the numbers right. I am aiming for the 1st of Feb
