Subject: 4:3 to 16:9

We have several instructors who are not wanting to spend the time to rebuild their old PowerPoint presentations into 16:9 format for our current technology projectors (we have no 4:3 projectors in the teaching areas).

Does anyone know of a tool that will convert the images to 16:9 without distorting or pushing text off of the screen. I would even accept a "framer" that puts side panels on the 4:3 image so it does not get stretched when presented on a computer set to the native resolution of the projector.

Thanks,

Ernie

In my experience the slides remain in the format they were created in unless you set it otherwise. On the Mac & WinXP, you can control the slide show format in the Page Setup dialog, choosing 4:3, 16:9, 16x10.

Harry
