*Coordinator, Event Media Technology*: The University of Nevada, Reno seeks
a dynamic, engaged Event Media Technology Coordinator with a commitment to
excellent customer service and a flair for creative solutions. The position
will meet with potential event clients, determine needs, create action
plans to fulfill needs, and make decisions and judgments as to the best
technology and methods to implement needs and produce events. Major
responsibilities include, but are not limited to: developing plans to
fulfill various event needs including procurement of equipment and
additional staff as well as system test-bedding and component evaluation;
setting up, breaking down, running and troubleshooting technical devices to
include video, sound and lighting systems, projectors, computers, and more;
monitoring and producing media technology elements during events; and
collaborating with production teams in seeking the highest quality and most
effective production approaches relative to the project. The Event Media
Technology Coordinator will have a direct impact on the success of events
and thus the University’s image with a wide range of internal and external
constituents who participate in events held on campus.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited
institution and two years of work experience in event media technology

Salary: $40s-$50s DOE. TIAA/CREF and other retirement options; 24 days of
