Hello, all.

I've switched to Bodhi Linux because I'm running on very old hardware
and the Ubuntu releases are causing my system to slow down.

Which version of autokey should I install in this environment? I'm not
familiar with how I can decide which version will work correctly in
Bodhi Linux.

Thanks.

autokey-gtk *should* work OK. As far as I understand Bodhi is based on Lucid, so you'd install the version of AutoKey from Lucid.

Thanks.  Tried gtk and it didn't work properly -- abbreviations didn't expand.  I can still get them by clicking on the tray icon and selecting the phrase I want.

Best.

Hi again.

I'm wondering if there are any further thoughts on the problems with Bodhi Linux and autokey.  Expressions won't expand after entering the trigger characters.  Bodhi installed autokey v. 0.61.7.  Is this a version problem?  Thanks.
