Yesterday I installed an update to Autokey via the Ubuntu Update
Manager, and now Autokey will not start. Before loading it throws the
error dialog:
Fatal error starting Autokey.
'Indicator' object has no attribute 'set title'.

The error dialog will not close and I have to manually kill the
process.

Please indicate which version of Autokey you are running specifically. You can get this by running: autokey --version

do:

cd /usr/share/pyshared/autokey; ls

and post it here
this is where the Autokey python files should be.

Thank you both. This is now resolved - Chris Dekter has released an
update, v0.90.3

Thanks for such quick responses,

I'm trying to install v0.90.3 with

sudo apt-get remove autokey-gtk
sudo apt-get remove autokey-common
sudo apt-get install autokey-gtk

but it installs v0.90.2.

Is it normal to wait a little before it gets updated on the PPA?

You don't need to remove the old version first:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
