Hi All,

My attention has just been brought to some temperature rises, in particular Bellambi which rose from 23.6c at 2pm to 37.5c at 2.42pm. Not sure what the record temperature rising is for Australia, but that could be close?

I guess the good folks at Bellambi were having a great day until the wind arrived.  We have just had heat, and now it looks like dust in the sky as well.  Or perhaps bushfire smoke up high.

The Sun is back out in Melbourne town, 75mm all the better off in Keilor.  The emergency pressure valve blew at the old keilor sewerage station and a short period of poo floating down the river. After filling two emergency storage pits.  I’d hold off on eating any fish from flemmington for a while.  Lol

Interestingly – 1992 we had a similar fall which gave us second biggest flood – but on a wet catchment.  Time will tell

It’s a great spot here, a rain like that and the water from taylors creek actually flows up the maribrynong for a little way if you time it right!

Here’s hoping for some more!!

Looks like the NW wind eroded the seabreeze or there was a massive mixing down from just above it? That's a whopping jump!

40° here at the moment...have had no seabreeze but I'd have been too far inland for it I guess.

Hehehehe, only managed to get to 19.5c here today. It was completely overcast until about 4pm. We had 39.5mm in 12 hours overnight, with heavy rain falling at around 9.30 this morning causing some flash flooding around the place. I loved every minute of it!
