Where are the better places to put a catamaran in the water on Canyon
Lake?

Last time I sailed (20 years ago) Potters Creek was open and free and
had a nice low beach where you could pull your cat onto the shore. Now
from the maps it looks like the military has a lot of the peninsula to
themselves, the county has put up a gate that works . . . well, most
of the time.

Thanks, Jim. Of course, I meant Jacob's Creek.

Jacob's Creek does not allow camping, right? If I wanted to sail past
the day-use closing of 8:00pm, is there a 24/7 boat ramp that's
catamaran-friendly?

And at what point does a lightless catamaran have to be off the lake?
Sunset or when twilight gets dark enough to reduce visibility?
