Ok folks we are a week and a half from go time and the lake is rising by the minute. We are less than 7 foot from normal pool level. This is up 3 foot if you were at Wurstfest in November. Pretty cool if you compare that to the rest of the lakes we sail on in Texas. I have attached the NOR and camping/launching details. For the regular crowd, it's the same old same old. You can camp and launch at the yacht club for free. If you want to launch and leave your boat at Jacobs Creek and stay elsewhere you can do that for a fee. If you want to launch and leave the boat at Jacobs Creek and camp within eyesite of your boat at Randolph Marina you can do that also for a fee. If you plan on attending the regatta, even if you are not positive, send me an email with your name and crews name. I need to give Randolph a list of people that are expected to attend so you can get in. We are supposed to get a gate combo for Randolph if you show up after hours on Friday and want to rig your boat or if you want to show up early Saturday morning before gate hours and want to rig/acces your boat at Jacobs Creek. Jacobs Creek Park closes at 8pm and there is a gate attendant at Randolph between 8-9am in the mornings. Email me and I will send you the combo when available. It all sounds pretty complicated but it's not. If you are a newbie and totally confused, call me or even if you have been doing this rodeo for 30 years and are still confused, call me. Should be an excellent regatta. Looks like one of the only fresh water regattas of the year for Division 6. Hint ,Hint come on Houston boys and girls you can travel to one regatta this year can't you? By the way, we have Rockstar race commitee and new Flags - yeah baby!
There will be a skipper's meeting at Jacobs Creek Saturday morning for those that don't want to go back to the clubhouse for the "official" skipper's meeting.

John,
I would call ,but I am busy right now with finals at texas a&m. To be honest, I am a complete noob with this because I just bought a hobie 16 and I won’t sail it for the first time till next weekend. So I don’t want to be a nuisance ,but can I get help at the longneck regatta? Where do most of the peeps put their cats in the water and I am probably staying the night at LCYC. (I don’t have a dolly so I’m guessing I would have to use a boat ramp which I don’t want to do at LCYC since that’s a very long ramp( I raced lasers a lot and raced there a couple times with my laser.) and I’m not experienced with driving down boat ramps). So I am 100% noob at this moment!
My name is Cody Duffy and my crew is Chloe Potter. We are racing a Hobie 16. We are definitely going for sure.
