Description:
The Software Engineer will be part of the team developing a suite of
applications on Vignette's core products, StoryServer and Syndication
Server. The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and
implementing components of these applications and integrating with
other software systems. The ideal candidate will have strong
application design skills and experience developing applications under
Windows NT and/or Unix using C++ or Java and experience developing
web-based applications. Candidates must possess excellent
problem-solving skills and be highly adaptable to the ever-changing
challenges of the Internet.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Computer
Engineering. 3+ years of application software development experience
on Windows NT or Unix. This individual must be familiar with HTML,
HTTP and web application development technologies. Experience with
scripting languages, preferably TCL and/or JavaScript, and relational
databases are a plus. Must be fluent in either C++ or Java.
