This is a negative critique of AAA Grass & Landscape contractors.
I ordered two Chinese pistache trees from this landscape contractor.. A
crew came out and planted one, but apparently forgot to bring the second
one. I called and asked them to bring the second one. They must have
been in a hurry, because when I moved the cedar mulch aside at the base
of the second tree, it was obvious that they had left the burlap bag,
several ropes, and a WIRE BASKET around the roots of the tree. Duh!
When the landscape crew supervisor was confronted by my husband the next
day, he said, "We do them all that way." <trying to get away with
something>. When my husband pointed out that the other tree was not that
way, and when he told him how *upset* I was about it, the supervisor
said they would fix it.
When I got home it appeared that they had removed the wire basket and
the ropes. But without actually digging the tree up again, I don't know
that for sure. They could have just clipped the above ground wires. I
suspect them to be that sneaky and lazy!
There, I have duly vented. So unless you want to pay for careless,
sloppy, irresponsible workmanship, do NOT use AAA Grass and Landscape on
Research Blvd.
